As the President of SheLends Consulting, Maria continues to impact her field through her work with Emory University Start:ME program lead and as contract Business Advisor for the UGA Small Business Development Center.

Maria is a driven entrepreneur who aims to support women and minorities in the Georgia business community. Her first venture, Sweet Devil Moon tapas bar, successfully managed for six years, honored her Peruvian heritage with food from her childhood. In 2010, Maria joined Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs.
